Cutest pic of Gage!

I just love this picture! Our friend took it while we were up at Hurricane Ridge.

I hope everyone had a great July 4 holiday. We spent the week camping. We started off in Winthrop, WA...a small mining town on the northeast side of the Cascade Mountains. I loved it! It was great to see a different area of WA. We live in the wet, dreary Seattle area...so being in the desert was amazing. We then made our way over to Port Angeles to camp with friends for the weekend. We had a blast! We went on two hikes...each one up to a waterfall. I love waterfalls!

Gage was a wonerful little camper. He slept well in the camper. He loved hiking while being carried around on Daddy's chest in his snugli. Thank goodness Jess is strong and surefooted. I didn't have to worry too much about Gage being carried up steep trails and near waterfalls. I did tell Jess to get off a rock...I am a Mother now, and its my job to worry...at least a little!
We are home now, preparing for the upcoming deployment. We are trying to enjoy our last few weeks before Jess leaves again. Its hard to believe its already July. This year is flying by! Hopefully this deployment will fly by and Jess will be back before we know it. I'll post again when something fun and/or interesting happens!

I take tons of pictures of Gage everyday. I can't help myself! I love to use the timer and jump in on some of them. He tries to be patient with me! I love being home with him everyday. It has made it easy to get into a routine. He is a sleepy baby, so its been easy to get him used to nap time and bed time. We are so lucky!

Gage is beginning to drool ALOT. He really likes to chew on Daddy's fingers. I bought him a teething ring, but he still prefers Daddy's fingers. He is eating solid food now. He likes oatmeal, applesauce, bananas, carrots....I don't think he is going to be a picky eater! At 3 months he weighed 16 lbs 10 ozs. He is a growing boy!

Homecoming

Jess finally got to meet his baby boy on April 15! We've had so much fun in the last few weeks getting into a routine with Daddy home. Gage loves Jess! He had no problems adjusting to him being home. This was the best homecoming ever!

Playdate

We had so much fun hanging out with Haley and Griffin...and their Mom's! Haley is the oldest - she's two weeks older than Gage. Griffin is the youngest - he's two weeks younger than Gage. It was hard to get them all propped up on the couch. They ended up leaning on each other, and didn't mind it for the few minutes it took to get some good pictures. Such good babies!
